Condition - OLD / around 100 years (I guess it's from Taisho or Meiji period) or older. Blade Width - 245 mm. Steel - Hand forged / laminated with carbon steel sandwiched by ground metal. The edge is sharpened by hands.

This shape is a central Japanese shape, called Chubu Hokuriku gata. This shape isn't being made anymore since very long time ago. The handle is loose, please make sure the handle is super tight with the blade before using. It is better to change the handle because it has become dried and tight due to aging, there are notable gaps between the hole and the handle.
