Old mounting glue, residue, tags or mouthing material may be present. Some specimens may not sit upright as seen in pictures and may require a stand or other propping device. Saw marks may be present on any rough, cabochons, slabs or specimens. Some cabochons may appear smooth in pictures but may have small vugs, natural fractures, edge chipping or other imperfections. Backing or stabilization is highly recommended for all slabs or rough to prevent breakage.
