Original WWII German M31 combat helmet liner suspension set in the rarest size of 61 (7 5/8's). In good (considering the age), heavily used condition.

The leather has dried out a little, but remains strong, is pliable and not brittle. Definitely a combat worn liner. Outer suspension band stamp marked: 68 n.

The maker's mark/date reads: SCHUBERTH-WERKE over BRAUNSCHWEIG, encircling DRP over 1939. The spring leaves of the aluminum alloy inner band are all present, unbroken & in good shape. 100% German wartime made and still strong.
