A very rare and unique item from an audiophile's collection, this is a lot of 7 ten-inch and 6 twelve-inch acetate jazz records. Acetates are metal records with a thin coating of plastic.
They were given by labels as demos to radio stations or exchanged between collectors of the era, known as "jazz hounds". They often contained rare or alternate versions coveted by collectors. This swing-era collection includes artists such as Duke Elington and Red Norvo. They have been cleaned and are all V+ or E condition and play very enjoyably.
