Houses of Parliament London Big Ben ashtray relic of WW2 German Bombing Blitz on May 10, 1941 on the British House of Commons. The ashtray was made from the rubble from this bombing. It is about 6" in diameter and 1 3/8" high; the bowl is about 9/16 deep. This stone ashtray is in excellent condition. There is a stone worked pattern around edges.

In the center of the bowl is a pewter or bronze plaque of the Big Ben clock tower in London with the words "This Stone Came From House of Parliament". On the bottom of the stone is a sticker which says This stone came from the Houses of Parliament. Made in England London Stonecraft. London Stonecraft Ltd was allowed to make WW2 souvenirs such as this ashtray from bombing remains at the British House of Commons on May 10, 1941. They made other items such as bookends, paper weights and similar collectible relics.
