Incredible Song of the South Brer Tar Baby sculpture made of Hard resin and pro-painted. Disneys Song of the South is my favorite movie of all time, I could watch this movie since I was a kid over and over again and I always wanted to have a diorama with The Tar Baby. Incredible scene of the movies most iconic moment where Brer Rabbit faces The Tar Baby and almost gets caught by Brer Fox And Brer Bear.

Since I was a kid I always wanted to have a unique piece reproducing this moment of the movie, I know a lot of people feel the same way as I do, this is why me and an artist friend developed this special sculpture just for you to have as a display in your Song of the South collection. This special piece took 4 months on the making, we first made analyzed some sketches and we chose the right one, after that we sculpted the Prototype with Clay, then we sculpted with an epoxy plastiline the real deal or the definitive prototype. Later we detailed and sand blasted all the pieces until all the pieces were smooth, after that then we started to make the molds. Then we casted this piece with smooth on 310 Slow casting resin, then retouched and detailed all the pieces so we could start the painting process, this sculpture has a rustic finish so there are some roughness on the details and materials, but it is a great work of art. It was a very long hard but very rewarding artistic process and finally we have today the sculpture that maybe a lot of people were wanting or desiring to possess but never existed. The price is fair due to the fact that we are not a big company that makes pieces in a mass process, this is a very very artisanal and complicated process, very difficult project altogether, it takes a long time to sculpt, to make molds, to take the right choices, to try different materials to cast the pieces, to paint, to retouch, to sand blast, to smooth the surfaces, it is a very long process that requires skills and patience, but finally you have the chance to own this great piece.

Several pieces have been made by Disney with Brer Fox, Brer Bear and Brer rabbit, but never a diorama showing The Tar baby, so finally its here, its yours, and could be with you forever. Sculpture will be sent well packed ensuring that you will have him safe and sound with no damage and you can treasure this piece. Figure is pro-painted, no need to paint. The piece measures about 7 inches tall and about 7 inches wide.

It is all made of hard casting resin, parts are fragile, not a toy, only a display piece, base is made of solid casting resin also. PLEASE READ AND BE AWARE.
