Rare ONE UNIT WHOLE BLOOD collection in BIG BOX with Official Strategy Guide. This game is rated M for mature players 17 or older.

It is a first-person shooter with horror elements. It is a collection of four pieces, the first being the primary game, "Blood" from 1997 by Monolith Productions, Inc. It was published and distributed by GT Interactive Software Corp.

Also included in the collection is Blood: Plasma Pak which is an official level pack with 13 additional levels, seven new monsters, and some additional firing modes for the existing weapons which also came out in 1997. Next is Cryptic Passage for Blood from Wizard Works which is also a level package containing 10 single-player and 4 bloodbath levels.

Finally, the collection includes Unlock the Secrets to Blood which is an interactive strategy guide from GameWizards. It doesn't say so on the box for this 1998 collection, but MobyGames says it supports not only DOS 6.2 but also Windows 95. The one-piece box is really big - 12.25"x10"x2.75. The box is starting to show its considerable age with wear at the corners and edges, minor nicks that mostly can only be seen if you hold the box up to the light just right, and visible wear at the right edge flaps from repeated opening.

There is some tape at that lower right edge flap and along the right edge. The left edge is still sealed. Structurally the box is in very good condition with no dents, dings or depressions.

There are two price stickers on the front - both are intact - see pics. The inside components are also in very good condition owing largely to the sturdy cardboard infrastructure that maintains the box integrity and also has spaces to hold the cd's and manuals.

The inside components include the still-sealed One Unit of Whole Blood cd in jewel case which also includes a manual and the cd contains both the Plasma Pak and Cryptic Passage; the cd for Unlock the Secrets which originally was in a paper sleeve but is now in a proper jewel case for protection; 16 page cd-size instruction manual for Cryptic Passage; 10 page cd-size manual for Plasma Pak; 8 page cd-size manual & installation guide for Unlock the Secrets; 1-sided installation and startup card for One Unit of Whole Blood; promo postcard for Blood II The Chosen proclaiming "In stores Halloween'98"; and an unused registration card for GT Interactive Software Corp - see pics. I have also included an unread copy of Blood The Official Strategy Guide from Prima by Mel Odom and Ted Chapman. The paperback book is in excellent condition with no marks on its 211 pages which measure 5 3/8" x 9 1/8".

Please see pictures for exactly what is included. This is a very hard to find item in its retail box in this condition and state of completeness - the Prima strategy guide is gravy.
