Vintage CATTERAUGUS Dog Leg BIG BEAUTIFUL & Super RARE Bone knife
This is one beautiful vintage CATTERAUGUS 2 blade big Dog Leg pattern that is as NICE as they come! It is a big knife and measures 3-3/4in the closed position. Both blade tangs are stamped CATTERAUGUS CUTLERY CO. Both the blades are full have been used and have been cleaned at some time. Both blades also have great snap and both sit in the right positions open and closed with no wiggle. Both blades also have hard locking 90-degree 1/2 stops. The main has a 1-1/4swedge or false edge on the top spine and a long nail pull. The handle scales are simply "Gorgeous" prettier than even the best peachseed,,, with no cracks, chips or any imperfections (see pictures) all tight and right! It has brass pins and brass liners with a nickel silver pinned federal shield and nickel silver front and rear bolsters with no dings or scratches. This one is a Beauty!
