This "Big Eye" style was specifically used on late-war battleships, destroyers, cruisers and other surface vessels! These were brought back by a US veteran who served in the Pacific. Made of a solid brass, aluminum, and steel by TOKO, this set of binoculars is in EXCELLENT used condition! Manufactured around 1944/1945, they retain 95% of their original paint, and all optics are VERY CLEAR, with almost NO spotting! Optical alignment is also perfect!
Features a gradient scale in the right eye piece (though to get a photo of, but you can see it in the last photos). The left side features a prominent stamp indicating; "20x3"; the manufacture name; and serial number "897". The 120mm front objectives are slightly recessed, and both focus adjustment (though quite stiff) function perfectly!
Comese complete with the tripod mount (these are usually missing). It would make a SUPERB addition to any collection or display! Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft Fw190, Me262, etc. , as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. Use is solely based on my authorization only.
